Amelle is a tribute to my grandmother, whose knitting was always defined by richly textured fabrics made with nothing more than knit and purl stitches. She showed me that even the simplest stitches can create something truly beautiful.
The name Amelle is a blend of her name, Angelė, and Mutka - the loving nickname our family gave her. It felt like the perfect way to honour both the woman she was and the love she shared with our family.
